In most cases, yes. You can replace your lead-acid battery with the Renogy 12V 20Ah battery. However, it's important to verify compatibility with your specific device (like the charger) or system before making the switch.

Does this battery have BMS protection?

Yes. it has a built-in battery management system (BMS) that includes protection features such as overcharge, over-discharge, over-current, and short-circuit protection, and supports automatic disconnection at low / high temperatures to ensure safety and durability.

How many Renogy 12.8V 20Ah Deep Cycle Lithium Iron Phosphate Batteries can I connect at most?

You can connect up to 16 batteries in series and parallel to expand power to 4.096kWh. Batteries of the same model and similar capacity are required.

Can I pair a Bluetooth Module for this battery to monitor the battery status on the phone?

No. This battery does not have a Bluetooth port for a Bluetooth Module. However, you can connect your battery with a Renogy 300A Battery Shunt (sold separately), which can send the data to the Renogy app via Bluetooth so you can keep track of battery status in real time.

How long does it take to charge?

It is recommended to use a dedicated charger for lithium batteres. The charging time varies with the charging current. If you use a 10A charger, it will take approximately 2 hours to fully charge this 12V 20Ah LiFePO4 battery.
