Pure Sine Wave Inverter 12V to 230V with UPS Backup 1000W / 2000W / 3000W

Use as a UPS - Unfortunately these inverters take power from the battery even when running on mains. OK they switch over very fast but you need to regularly recharge the battery unless you want to find the battery flat when the mains goes off. Hence if the intention is to use it in UPS mode you need to cost in for a battery charger/power supply as well. I use a 14.4volt power supply to recharge on a timer and charge the lead acid battery for a couple of hours once a day. Trial and error to work out how long the charger needs to be on for each day. Different voltage required if a Lithium or AGM battery. No need to disconnect to recharge this inverter handles the charge voltage OK. A rather silly design I think.

This is a nice bit of kit but I did make a mistake when planning to fit it in place of my older one due to the size of it but have done a temporary install test and it runs everything it is needed for coffee machine-microwave and air fryer so I am well happy at this time just need to get it fitted in permanently now

Easy fix into caravan. Appears well designed and built with the bonus of remote operation (fitted under seating with all the other electrical equipment). Silent (haven’t heard the cooling fans come on). Also has the AC switch over included but don’t require it)
Have ran TV’s, PS4 and air cooker without missing a beat. I do have 2 x 130 amp batteries running in parallel with heavy cable so no strain on system.
