THESE ARE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS DUE TO THE INADEQUATE CABLES THAT THEY ARE SUPPLIED WITH!

The cables that come with them are a fire risk as they only have 100A lugs on them and they are only 25mm² in thickness.

They need to be 50mm² to be run 2 in parallel (or 70mm² on a single cable) & the lugs need to be 400A rated, not 100A.

These cables will overheat & catch fire if used to the inverters 3kw (6000kw surge) rating such as boiling a kitchen kettle which, is the reason I purchased them.

I contacted customer service on several occasions & each time they said they was safe to use even though I proved they wasn't!

They even sent me images to show me how to set them up to a LifePO4 battery WITHOUT a fuse which is also illegal & a breach of regulations, as it is a risk of electrocution (10,000A!! when it's only 80A that is supplied to your whole house!) as well as fire as they should always be used with a Class T or NH00 fuse when an inverter is being used with a LifePO4 battery.

Great delivery if a bit sporadic

Lasted about a year without much use. Now won’t take any peak or continuous loads of about more than 2kW, so now can’t run many things you’d want to as a 3kW inverter. Will be buying Victron.

Use as a UPS - Unfortunately these inverters take power from the battery even when running on mains. OK they switch over very fast but you need to regularly recharge the battery unless you want to find the battery flat when the mains goes off. Hence if the intention is to use it in UPS mode you need to cost in for a battery charger/power supply as well. I use a 14.4volt power supply to recharge on a timer and charge the lead acid battery for a couple of hours once a day. Trial and error to work out how long the charger needs to be on for each day. Different voltage required if a Lithium or AGM battery. No need to disconnect to recharge this inverter handles the charge voltage OK. A rather silly design I think.

This is a nice bit of kit but I did make a mistake when planning to fit it in place of my older one due to the size of it but have done a temporary install test and it runs everything it is needed for coffee machine-microwave and air fryer so I am well happy at this time just need to get it fitted in permanently now
