Return within 30 Days

You may return your product(s) to Renogy within 30 days of delivery. The item(s) must be in the original packaging, be unused, undamaged, and unmodified. A refund will be issued after the returned item is inspected by Renogy.

Renogy will pay for the return shipping label for items that fall within the following categories:

  • Carrier damage/ warehouse mishandling
  • Defective product
  • Incorrect product was delivered
  • Additional product(s) you did not order were delivered

For any other reason not listed, customers are responsible for any return shipping fees. Renogy will NOT accept returns with any modifications to the product as it voids our warranty. Any modified products returned to Renogy will be shipped back to you at your own expense.

Can I exchange my Renogy order?

Renogy does not offer exchanges. If you purchase the wrong item by mistake, you will need return the item and place a separate order for the correct one. The return shipping expenses shall be borne by you.

Where is my refund?

Once we have confirmed that the return requirements are met, we will issue a full refund within 2-5 business days. Actual deposit times may vary according to your banking institution. Additionally, an email notification will be sent out when the refund is issued.

What about defective or faulty items?

Indirect sunlight, high temperatures, cloudy skies, and the accumulation of dirt or stains on the surface glass can all reduce their efficiency and overall performance. Regular cleaning and proper positioning can help mitigate these issues.

3. How should I connect solar panels in my electrical circuit - series or parallel?

Solar panels can be connected in series or parallel configurations to meet the specific size and power requirements of your electrical circuit. In a series connection, the operating voltage of each panel adds up, while the system current remains the same as that of a single panel. In a parallel connection, the operating current of each panel adds up, while the system voltage remains the same as that of a single panel.For optimal power output and to meet the system's requirements, a combination of both series and parallel connections can be used depending on your setup.

4. How many solar panels do I need?

To determine how many solar panels you need, start by calculating the power load required for your system. Power is measured in watts, while capacity is typically measured in watt-hours, which is calculated by multiplying the power output in watts by the number of hours of operation, then adding a safety factor of 1.5 to 2. It’s recommended to size your battery bank first based on the minimum required capacity, and then decide on the necessary input power and the number of panels accordingly.

5. Will this panel produce power in overcast conditions?

Yes, it will! This Renogy solar panel, built with high-quality materials, continues to generate power even during cloudy weather. However, please note that power conversion will be lower compared to sunny days.

6. Do solar panels require maintenance? Can I wash my solar panels?

7. What does the 12V/24V in the product title of the solar panel mean? Why is it different from the value on the label/specification sheet of the solar panel?

The 12V/24V in product titles (ex. 100W 12V Monocrystalline Solar panel) does not refer to the actual voltage (Voc or Vmp) of the solar panels, but rather to the voltage of the solar system or energy storage system to which the panel is best suited. The voltage of the solar panel must be higher than the solar system voltage.

This fuse box was easy to install. Seems to be good quality and have not had any issues with it for 3 weeks now. The only thing that would be nice is if a person could buy replacement fuses without the box.
